Don’t Buy Generic Viagra Yet; It’s not Available Until December 2017

If you rely on erectile dysfunction medications like Viagra to conquer impotence, you might be looking forward to buying a generic version.

While there’s been a lot of talk about generic Viagra, it won’t be available until December 2017.

At the end of the year, Teva Pharmaceuticals will be allowed to sell a generic version of the popular “little blue pill.” Until then, you shouldn’t be any medication claiming to be generic Viagra because it’s going to be fake.

Here’s what you should know until a generic version is available:

Why shouldn’t I buy generic Viagra now?

As mentioned, generic Viagra won’t be available to the public until the end of the year. So, any website or pharmaceutical company claiming to sell generic Viagra is selling you fake pills.

You can’t buy generic Viagra in advance either.

When a website claims to sell generic Viagra, what is it?

When you buy a product that claims to be generic Viagra, you have no idea what you’re actually putting into your body. A recent examination of counterfeit Viagra showed a variety of harmful ingredients including speed, drywall, random amounts of antibiotics and blue printer ink so the pills looked like Viagra.

It goes without saying that ingesting these kinds of substances can be harmful to your health.

How are “generic” pills created?

Most “generic” medications are created in “pill factories” that set up shop for a few weeks or months and then move to another location to avoid getting caught.

In some cases, these make-shift factories are able to pay off law enforcement officials and continue to operate while authorities look the other way. This happens mostly in other countries where bribery is more the norm and pharmaceutical laws are relaxed.

Until generic Viagra is released to the public, it’s important to stay vigilant and not purchase any medications claiming to be the real thing.
