The short answer is – maybe. Impotence, or erectile dysfunction, is defined broadly as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection. There are many different causes of impotence and each category needs to be understood in principle: medical including vascular, psychological, and neurological. Does this list sound familiar? It is essentially the same as erectile dysfunction; only the term impotence is broader and encompasses many more underlying disorders.

The psychological component to impotence can take many forms, such as pressure to perform, depression, and even sexual over-stimulation. Intimacy in a relationship requires honesty and transparency. If both partners are mutually devoted towards the other’s well being, there can be many psychological barriers to enjoying a satisfying sexual relationship. Depression is usually treatable, but speak with your doctor to rule out a medical reason for depression. Over-stimulation occurs when a man has sex too often or in different settings and is not always able to become aroused.

The answer to most of these psychological barriers is readily obvious with a little bit of perspective provided in this article. If we at AccessRx can help you, don’t hesitate to give us a call. You can speak with one of our doctors on the phone if you like. You can even order Viagra and other ED medications such as Cialis and Levitra to increase your ability to achieve and maintain erections. A U.S.-licensed physician will review the medical questionnaire you fill out before considering a prescription for you – all from the privacy of your own home! Visit www.AccessRx.com right now.

Stamina refers to enduring strength and energy. Male stamina typically means the duration and virulence of a man’s sexual performance.

There are many factors that play a role in male stamina and it can be difficult to diagnose a problem. We will discuss here the different characteristics and how you might be able to tell where you can improve. Once you’ve taken this self-assessment quiz, talk to your doctor about the results.

The first factor for male stamina is libido. While often misunderstood, this instinctive drive to procreate comes from an area in the brain that is also responsible for aggression. If you’ve become less interested in sex and have become more timid, it is possible that depression is playing a role. Libido is, essentially, a physiologic state of mind. That is, it can have an effect on sexual relations similar to depression or lack of intimacy in a relationship.

Second, physical conditioning is a very important consideration in problems of stamina. If you have become more complacent in lifestyle and don’t exercise this is certainly an area for improvement if you want to increase your sexual stamina.

Third, cardiovascular disease is responsible for problems with male stamina for many men. This is potentially the most serious category of stamina barriers. I don’t just mean you should do more cardiovascular exercise, but that you should also be evaluated to make sure you don’t have heart or blood vessel disease that may actually make prolonged sexual activity dangerous.

In fact, symptoms of erectile dysfunction can be a serious manifestation of underlying cardiovascular disease and put the patient into a higher risk category for severe events, such as heart attack or stroke.

Talk with your doctor to make sure you are cleared to begin an exercise program, and take care of your body. Stay close and honest in your relationships and take symptoms of erectile dysfunction seriously.

For treatment of erectile dysfunction, you can order erectile dysfunction medications from www.AccessRX.com. In fact, you can compare Viagra, Levitra and Cialis on this website.

We need to first be clear about how we are defining "impotence" which is most often referred to as erectile dysfunction these days. It is the partial or complete inability to achieve or maintain a satisfying erection.

Many different diseases and events can cause impotence. The three main ways are via the nerves, blood vessels, and the human mind. Nerve disorders can be caused from trauma, mass lesions or congenital abnormalities that inhibit the normal function of the nerves responsible for achieving and maintaining an erection. Mental stressors such as performance anxiety, interpersonal relationship problems, and shame can all contribute to impotence as well.

Medicines often work best for vascular issues. In the case of erectile dysfunction, drugs such as Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis improve blood flow to the penis and help to alleviate the problem. In fact, over 50% of men ages 40-70 have, even with the most severe cases of erectile dysfunction, have been shown to get relief! Patients who take Viagra have reported an improved sex life after only a few months. Many of these men have spent years suffering from erectile dysfunction, many of them too embarrassed to tell their physicians.

We also know that at least 58% of men that experience symptoms of erectile dysfunction and impotence never tell their physicians in office visits. What if you could do it discretely and from the privacy of your own home? You can.

Right now you can buy Viagra online, as well as other medications, from AccessRx.com. A U.S.-licensed physician will consider writing you a prescription after reviewing your medical questionnaire. There is no reason to deal with the effects of ED when they can be remedied so easily and discreetly! All it takes is the initiative to make things better.

Men with diabetes frequently have more trouble getting an erection and have a great incidence of erectile dysfunction then men who do not have diabetes. The fundamental difference between men with and without diabetes is blood flow. Men with diabetes suffer diabetes-related damage to blood vessels through the body, including those which supply blood flow to the penis.

Additionally, poorly controlled diabetes can lead to pervasive nerve damage throughout the body, especially in the feet and other extremities. Diabetes also increases the risk for heart disease, stroke and artery diseases such as atherosclerosis.

Studies show that about 75% of adults who have diabetes also have some form of artery or blood vessel disease as well. This leads to the issue of restricted blood flow to the body, including the penis, thus contributing to the high incidents of erectile dysfunction in men with diabetes.

Blood Flow Problems with Diabetes

Like heart disease and stroke, diabetes is an illness that damages or impairs blood flow in the body and will have a negative impact of the ability of the blood to flow to the penis and for a man to get an erection. The correlation between general health and erectile function is also high – not just for men with diabetes, but any man who neglects his body may exhibit signs and symptoms or erectile dysfunction.

From men who are obese, who smoke or drink in excess or who abuse drugs, the neglect often reflects in overall vitality and mental, sexual and physical wellbeing. Controlling bad or destructive habits is essential to maintaining overall wellbeing and sexual health – for all men.

Diabetes Can Lead to Erectile Dysfunction

Men with diabetes have it that much harder, because in addition to the general welfare considerations and lifestyle changes they must make, they must also be diligent about controlling their blood sugar. Adult onset diabetes (type 2) can lead to very serious complications in not properly controlled.

Erectile dysfunction is a frequent side effect of diabetes, but there are also life-threatening conditions that can result from failing to properly address diabetes issues. If diligent and constant, many men find that they are able to keep their diabetes under control and, sometimes with the help of medication, keep their erectile dysfunction at bay.

Read an interesting article on Why Men Don’t Talk About Erectile Dysfunction in the AccessRx.com health article section. This article will help you address common issues when talking to your physician about Erectile Dysfunction.

Ever since Pfizer started producing Viagra, men with Erectile Dysfunction (ED) everywhere are enjoying the intimacy they once shared with their significant others. Viagra has also seen competition in the wake of its success from two other big-name Erectile Dysfunction medications, Cialis, and Levitra.

Because all of these drugs have similar efficacy, deciding which drug to choose for you becomes more challenging. Typically, these drugs are chosen based on a few factors: 1, the experience of the physician (side effects his/her patients have had, effectiveness), affordability, and 3, likelihood that the patient will comply with the prescription regimen.

Using online pharmacies helps you, the consumer, choose the most affordable option. Plus, online ordering is discrete and this improves privacy issues for the patient.

So, what kind of side effects can you expect? And which one of these drugs is better than the other?

First, never take any ED drug if you are taking medications that contain nitrates (such as for heart disease) or alpha-blockers. If you take

medications for high blood pressure, consult with your doctor before taking ED medications.

Viagra

Viagra’s most common side effects are:

Headache

Facial flushing

Upset stomach

Cialis

As far as the side effects of Cialis go, the makers of Cialis warn that the side effects may be more severe in the elderly. Some of the most common side effects listed include:

Headache

Indigestion

Back pain

Muscle aches

Flushing

Stuffy or runny nose

Levitra

Many doctors feel that Levitra is easier on the body with less side effects. When side effects do occur, these are the most common:

Headache

Facial flushing

Stuffy or runny nose

Indigestion

Upset stomach

Dizziness

Also, Levitra has been proven not to have as many negative interactions while taking other drugs, and is safe enough to use even with some existing conditions:

According to Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corporation – Makers of Levitra

Levitra works for many men with a broad range of conditions, including high cholesterol.

The medication works for most men, including those taking one or more types of blood pressure medication (ask your doctor about drug interactions)

Levitra works for many men with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, across all levels of ED severity.

It may work when other oral treatments do not

The cost of Levitra is currently the same price as Viagra. Cialis is currently a little higher than the two erectile dysfunction products, but it lasts longer.

Make sure to discuss your options with your primary care physician. Once your doctor has approved of you taking Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra, you can always choose to purchase the medications online at an online pharmacy such as AccessRx.com for more privacy.

There can be numerous causes of erectile dysfunction, from diabetes and cigarettes to psychological problems. Fortunately, there exist a number of alternatives that can help men unable to achieve and maintain an erection. First and foremost, there are the top-selling erectile dysfunction drugs available such as Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra, which have been proven to be very effective. In some extreme cases, surgery or penile implants may be necessary.

For men who find the side effects of erectile dysfunction medication unpleasant, there are some natural alternatives that may help men obtain a better maintained erection, and can even improve overall health in the process.

Exercise in General

There is a long-standing belief by many medical professionals that exercise plays an important role helping a man achieve and maintain his erections. There are several factors that influence this phenomenon. Regular exercise can help keep your arteries clear and open, increasing the blood flow. Cardiovascular efficiency increases, which may lead to better, longer-lasting erections. When in better physical better shape, you often have more stamina, which is often experienced as an important factor in sexual performance. Better performance and ability to satisfy can offer a great boost to practically any man psychologically. More confidence can also help in keep a better erection, since so much about sex starts with the brain rather than the penis.

To increase cardiovascular fitness, choose any of the following exercises that you ENJOY enough to stick with:

Running, Walking, Jogging, Biking, Rowing, Swimming, Hiking, Resistance Circuit exercises and the like. Check with your doctor first before starting any exercise program. You want to achieve and maintain a training heart rate for 20-30 minutes 3-5 times per week – at a minimum to improve your status. You can calculate your training heart rate as follows: (220-age)*0.8.

Exercises Specifically for Erectile Dysfunction

The results of the 2003 Harvard study affirm cardiovascular fitness as a chief component avoiding impotence. But how do you improve on erectile dysfunction once you have it? Specifically, what can be done to improve the cardiovascular system in the genital region? The answer is Kegel exercises.

And don’t worry; this simple exercise can be done quickly and comfortably at home without any special equipment.

See, leaking veins are among the many causes of erectile dysfunction. A leaking vein may be the result of injury, disease, or other types of damage to penile area. When the veins in a penis are not compressed during an erection, a vein can leak and lead to erectile dysfunction from blood no longer being maintained well enough inside the penis.

The exercises a man can do to help with erectile dysfunction because of leaking veins are Kegel exercises, often prescribed to help women with urinary incontinence. You may already know of Kegel exercises, which were originally developed in 1948 by Dr. Arnold Kegel to help control incontinence in women following childbirth.

Kegel exercises involve contracting and relaxing the pelvic muscles. These same muscles are used use to stop urinating in mid-flow. So simulate trying to abort a stream of urine; that is the muscle group to exercise. Do repetitions and build strength like you would any other muscle group. By strengthening these muscles, it is believed some men may be able to achieve a better erection without resorting to other means, such as medicine or with surgery.

Reviewed by: Daniel Williams, MD

A report was published in the July issue of The American Journal of Medicine, claiming that frequent sexual intercourse may reduce a man’s likelihood of developing erectile dysfunction. The study, led by Dr. Juha Koskimki from Tampere University Hospital, collected data on 989 Finnish men from ages 55-75.

More Sex = Less ED Risk

The study concluded that men who had sexual intercourse less than once a week were twice as likely to develop ED. Further, men who had sex at least three times a week were 75% less likely to develop ED than those who had sex less than once a week.

So what about masturbation?

It seems logical that it too would provide the same ED combative effects. However, the researchers in this particular study did not include masturbation in their findings.
The findings of this study could possibly be related to an earlier study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine in 2003, which stated that men who exercise 3-5 hours per week are 30% less likely to experience erectile dysfunction.

How Common Is Erectile Dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction affects a substantial number of men. Experts have estimated that 30 million men in the U.S. alone have ED. But what does it really mean to have erectile dysfunction? The answer actually varies quite a bit among affected patients.

Erectile Dysfunction is the inability to achieve or sustain an erection for satisfactory sexual activity. Some men are completely unable to achieve an erection. Some can only maintain brief erections, and others can maintain an erection, but with insufficient hardness to achieve penetration. So, the term ED is a vague category of symptoms that contains vastly different pathologic causes.

Treatments For ED

Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra are all FDA-approved prescription medications for treating erectile dysfunction. Visit the Erectile Dysfunction health articles section at www.accessrx.com for more information. To compare Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra go to AccessRx.com’s detailed comparrison chart.

More than 152 million men world-wide suffer from Erectile Dysfunction or ED. Currently, there are three FDA-approved products on the market for treating the symptoms associated with this condition. You may be surprised to learn that just a fraction of the hundreds of millions adult males with ED ever seek treatment.

With so many options available right now, even including erectile dysfunction home exercises, the fact that many adult males would rather deny themselves some form of treatment out of sheer embarrassment is quite unfortunate. That is why we at Accessrx.com have developed this self-assessment questionnaire.

Keep in mind that there are primary causes of erectile dysfunction, such as poor circulation or nerve pathology, and secondary causes of erectile dysfunction, such as psychological and interpersonal issues. Sexuality is quite complex, but this survey should serve as a “Getting Started with ED” guide for you:

If you want to know whether or not you suffer from Erectile Dysfunction, you can use these top four signs to help find the answer.

1. Do you have trouble becoming sexually aroused even when mentally ready for sex? While psychology plays a role when trying to obtain an erection, this could be a neurovascular problem that could benefit from therapy. While this may be infrequent and not be a direct sign of ED, it could just be the start of many Erectile Dysfunction symptoms further down the road so pay attention to the occurrences over time.

Most of the time, ED is a condition that takes place on a consistent basis, and is not something that a male can control. In its literal sense, ED is considered a medical condition typically caused by a physical problem that affects blood flow to the penis. The saddest thing that could happen here is for someone to blame themselves and feel inadequate when they actually have a medical condition that is to blame!

Always consult with a physician to be properly evaluated and to learn more about the ED treatments they can provide. You can ask your doctor if medications such as Cialis, Viagra and Levitra may be an option. if so, you can buy Cialis online on this website.

2. Do you rarely want or think about sex, and even have trouble masturbating? This could be another early warning sign of Erectile Dysfunction. Quite often, men who are suffering with ED are in denial, completely unaware of a problem, and instead have a multitude of justifiable reasons why they have a lack of sexual desire. Refusing to acknowledge the real problem merely prolongs treatment for something that can ultimately be helped. So, be honest with yourself first and seek help when warranted based on the facts.

3. When trying to have sex, does it take you a long while to get an erection, and does the erection seem to dissipate before sex is finished? This is a primary sign of ED. When the penis cannot maintain or sustain an erection, there is a clear issue with the blood flow to the shaft of penis, as unrestricted blood flow is essential to developing a satisfactory erection.

4. Can you only get a partial erection and therefore find it difficult to perform sexual intercourse? Chances are you may not have had sex in quite a while because of this issue, which is actually an advanced state of ED. It may even be caused by a pre-existing medical history that you may not even be aware of. With symptoms like these, you should definitely contact a doctor to get a proper diagnosis for any necessary medical condition that might exist.

If you have one or more of these signs, then it is likely that you already suffer from Erectile Dysfunction. ED is something many men are embarrassed about, but there is no shame in getting help for something so common, especially when help can be sought in complete confidentiality.

Often times, having ED is less about the penis and more about the circulatory system. People learn not to ignore the signs of heart disease, so why let embarrassment hold you back from improving your sexual well-being, as well as doing something great for your health? If your ED is due to an underlying medical problem, then asking your doctor about available treatments is something well within your rights and your overall health and sex life may improve as a result.

Evaluating Your Symptoms

Even if you dread seeing a doctor, there are plenty of other ways to get a professional diagnosis and obtain a prescription online for the medicine necessary to enjoy your sex life again. AccessRx is one such online pharmacy with a team of licensed, U.S. physicians standing by, ready to evaluate your symptoms and provide you with the proper medication you need. And, with overnight shipping options, you can be well on your way to an improved sex life within a matter of days. Don’t let ED keep you down. Act now and save your sex life!

Reviewed by: Daniel Williams, MD

Many people consider Erectile Dysfunction (ED) to be a condition where a man is unable to get an erection from a complete lack of sexual arousal. These misconceptions have made ED discussions understandably rare. Erectile Dysfunction is actually a broad term that describes the inability a man to achieve and maintain an erection satisfactory for sexual intercourse. ED can be attributed to a long list of causes, and really has little to do with what makes a man, a man.

Since this condition is an inherently private and sensitive issue, many men choose to live with it out of embarrassment, hoping for the best. Even worse, some blame themselves for an inadequacy when they actually have an unknown medical condition.

As we all know, most men avoid telling the people closest to them about events in their private lives. There are also those who prefer to keep sexual matters to themselves, and therefore do not divulge any information in regards to personal privacy.

Those who suffer from Erectile Dysfunction often suffer in silence, but they are not alone. In 2004, a large international study of over 27,000 men found that between 16-22% currently had ED. Further, only 58% ever consulted their doctor and only 16% ever tried oral therapy. Suffice is to say that more education may shed some light, not only on the efficacy of oral therapy, but on breaking the silence that accompanies this problem.

Erectile Dysfunction Embarrassment

Sexual performance is often, albeit incorrectly, regarded as being analogous to a man’s overall masculinity. What makes a man masculine usually focuses on their ability to be strong and successful and how it applies to their marriage or any other private relations. Therefore, a man who experiences failure in one of the sexual stages may become too embarrassed to talk to their partner about ED just because of the fear of feeling ashamed or inadequate. By remaining silent and choosing to keep everything bottled-up, many men may be doing more harm than good in the end. In fact, Erectile Dysfunction may be the first symptom of a medical condition that affects a person’s overall health.

Male impotence can be indicative of underlying health problems, as Erectile Dysfunction can result from clogged blood vessels, nerve damage from diabetes, and other health issues related to vascular disease and hypertension. It can also be the result of a lifestyle that includes alcohol and drug abuse, and smoking cigarettes. By discussing ED with your doctor, you may be able to alleviate your frustrations, and allow any health problems you may not be aware of to be handled appropriately.

Saving You The Embarrassment

Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are commonly prescribed by doctors to effectively treat erectile dysfunction. These medications can be purchased from online pharmacies such as Accessrx.com. Online pharmacies are popular alternatives from where a person buys their medicine because they are not only cost-effective, but are timesaving and more convenient than a trip to see a local physician. Ordering online also saves you from the embarrassment that may come with requesting an Erectile Dysfunction prescription at a neighborhood pharmacy.
