AccessRx has partnered with doctors and pharmacists to publish numerous educational podcasts on AccessRx.com. Most of the podcasts provide medical information about men’s health issues such as erectile dysfunction, including possible treatments. The podcasts generally run between 2 and 4 minutes. 

“AccessRx is continually expanding its collection of informative medical products,” said Rich Bernstein, marketing director for AccessRx.com. “AccessRx already has an informative health articles section, a blog and a research section. Now, patients can hear directly from doctors and pharmacists in the new podcasts.”

Dr. Daniel Williams, M.D. is a senior contributor to AccessRx.com and appears in the initial selection of erectile dysfunction podcasts that are now available. Dr. Williams received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Tyler. He attended medical school at the University of Texas, Houston. He completed Emergency Medicine internship training at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.

“Helping to educate patients is very important to me,” said Dr. Williams. “If they’re watching the podcasts on AccessRx, the chances are good that they, or someone they know, may be dealing with conditions that I talk about. It’s my hope that the information I provide will help them understand, and even treat, their conditions.”

AccessRx.com added two new videos on Vimeo.com for online consumers. All of AccessRx.com’s videos will be archived on Vimeo.com and in the video section of this blog. 

The first video presents online consumers with a "Comprehensive Overview of Viagra", which was taken directly from the doctor’s prescribing information. This includes how Viagra works, its side effects and safety precautions, general patient information such as dosages, and much more.

The second video highlights specific steps consumers can take to ensure that they buy Viagra in a safe and secure manner on the internet.  Hundreds of sites currently offer potentially harmful, non-FDA-approved counterfeit medications, and this video provides consumers with warning signs they should look out for.

Many consumers are unsure about the safety and security of ordering prescription medications online, as well as the process they must go through to make sure they acquire genuine products such as FDA-approved Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, etc.

The first Vimeo.com consumer video provides background information on AccessRx.com and an overview of its business model.

The Second consumer video focuses on “how to use a safe and secure online pharmacy.”
