Doctors warn against products infused with Viagra

Over the last fifteen years Viagra has gained a stronghold on the erectile dysfunction market. Now, a consumer has options. Cialis, Levitra and Staxyn all treat this common condition in men, and have offered help. Millions of dollars are spent each year for these medications and pharmaceutical companies aren’t the only ones trying to get a piece of the pie.

Several companies have tried to combine their product with Viagra in hopes of high profit margins. Two of the most recent products include Viagra gum and Viagra beer.

Viagra gum?

Wrigley’s, the maker’s of Big Red and Juicy Fruit, are taking on a whole new product line.  They’re exploring the idea of Viagra gum.  The company applied for a patent to develop the gum, which would be taken about thirty minutes before sex.  After about two minutes of chewing the drug should start working, which is faster than taking the pill.  No word yet on if the gum will be blue.

Believe it or not, Wrigley’s isn’t the only company that is trying to corner the market on sexual gum.  A Florida based company has already rolled out, ‘Sexlets’ an herbal gum that claims to enhance a man’s libido.

Viagra beer?

Brewdog introduced a Viagra-laced beer called ‘Royal Virility Performance.’  The beer was rolled out in time for Prince William’s wedding last year. Drinking three bottles is equivalent to taking one Viagra, which can enhance men’s sexual performance.

The new brew is a pale ale and has a 7.5% alcohol content.  The company may consider selling the beer year around.

A word of caution

While many companies are eager to create new Viagra-infused products, doctors warn against these products. AccessRx, a reputable online facilitator of prescription lifestyle medications, says these kinds of products can be dangerous. Men wanting to learn more about real oral medications that treat ED can do so by contacting one of the trained online physicians at AccessRx.com.
