Whether it’s a leisurely stroll through the park or a high pace power walk around the lake, walking is just plain good for you. It’s fun, relaxing, and easy enough to not even think about while you’re doing it. Just about everyone can walk for 30 minutes a day. It’s the same amount of time that your mind wastes during a 30 minute TV show, the 30 minutes you use to complain to your friends or family about your work when you get home, or the 30 minutes you sit on facebook each night. It’ll take the place of all of those things and make you feel way better than you do currently.
Relieve Stress by Walking Daily
Just think, you can unwind by walking your aggression and frustrations about the day off to your favorite music in the wonderful fall air. Bring your dogs if you have any! Its great exercise for them as well and will make them give you the peace of mind you deserve at the end of the day. They act like hyper fools when they are pent up all day without exercise, just like you do. If you want, you could use this time to catch up with your Mom or best friend and be able to get your exercise in at the same time. It’s more personal and more fun to actually speak to your friends than just simply facebooking anyhow. I would not suggest looking at facebook while you walk! You might end up with a broken phone and a seat at the curb.
Give your Heart a Boost
Walking isn’t only a great stress reliever; it is one of the easiest and best exercises for your
cardiovascular system. Just a simple walk, 30 minutes a day, can keep you in tip top shape and make your heart happy. The benefits of walking are gigantic compared to any whining you might have about it. It may be easy to say, “I will go tomorrow when it’s not raining,” or “I’m so tired, I’ll make up for it tomorrow.” Walking will improve your blood flow and circulation, making you feel and look better but also keeping your body temperature more level. It won’t feel nearly as cold once your blood starts pumping the way it needs to
With time you will find that you have more overall energy and feel happier. Walking is a no brainer. Just get off your butt and do it!
