What Can Anger Do for You?

stress, anger, dissapointment, relaxation, violenceBeing angry feels like a fuse burning at both ends, everywhere you turn to run and douse that fire, you just see more fire. Obviously, it’s not okay to feel like this all the time. Sometimes, and only sometimes, the correct amount of anger can get business taken care of and ultimately speed up your motivation, problem solving techniques, and in the end you will feel more satisfied. Here’s a few ways you can use your angry powers for good not evil.

You’re faced with a difficult task that absolutely everyone has dropped the ball on. You feel enraged that you must do all the work and get nothing in return. You are tired of being the “clean-up crew”. Here’s what you can do.

Instead of completely losing your mind in a mass of violent destruction, try making a list of what you need to accomplish and focus your angry energies on that. Who cares about your help? You’ll do the job better anyway.anger, stress, relaxation, vacation, depression

Once you’ve had a chance to work the anger out of your system, you will feel much better and more collected so that when you speak with your “partners” you will likely drive your point home without all the “f” words.

You have been waiting for this day forever and now everything has fallen apart. There’s no way you’ll make it on time and even if you do, everyone has backed out and you really don’t have enough money to do it anyway, you might as well just go to the bar and not care.

We’ve all been here. It’s a completely deflating feeling of being so completely pumped about something and to honestly believe it’ll all work out only to be thrown fake first into a fly covered pile of excrement. Instead of absolutely losing your mind and screaming in your car, try coming up with an alternative option and who even cares about the people you wanted to join you. Find better people. Do what you want and don’t invite anyone. Not only will this make you feel free and adventurous, you will forget why you were mad at those people to begin with. Just try to lighten up and create casual conversations with new people. If you were going to the beach and everyone backed out last minute after reservations have been made, improvise. Go anyway and have a damn good time doing so!
